For our Aubonne boutique, we are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead a close-knit team of two Sales Associates and drive strong commercial performance. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining team development with an active presence on the shop floor and in daily boutique operations. The position is fixed-term until 31 March 2027, with the possibility of a permanent contract.

Job Description

  • Lead the boutique with full ownership of commercial performance, client experience, team management and daily operations.

  • Drive sales, clienteling and boutique KPIs, turning performance indicators into clear priorities and concrete actions.

  • Lead from the floor: remain close to clients, coach the team in real time and set the standard through your own behaviour.

  • Recruit, onboard, develop and retain a high-performing team, creating clarity, accountability and a strong team culture.

  • Build long-term relationships with local and international clients and actively develop the boutique’s client portfolio.

  • Ensure impeccable visual merchandising, stock management, cash handling, opening/closing procedures and operational standards.

  • Maintain strong communication with the Country Manager and support teams, anticipating issues and following through on agreed actions.

  • Take responsibility for the boutique during peak periods and ensure the team remains organised, engaged and commercially focused.

We are looking for someone who has already proven that they can lead a premium retail environment, drive results and create a team that clients and colleagues can rely on.

Crans-Montana is a seasonal and client-driven environment. You will spend most of your time on the sales floor, creating relationships and commercial opportunities.

In our boutique, everyone contributes: selling, clienteling, stock, deliveries and presentation standards are a shared responsibility.

Must-have

  • At least 5 years of experience in premium or luxury retail, including proven experience in a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or comparable leadership role.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of clienteling, sales targets and key retail KPIs such as conversion, average basket and UPT.

  • A hands-on and engaging leadership style, combining clear expectations and team development with an active presence on the shop floor.

  • Strong organisational and operational skills, with the ability to prioritise, follow through and take ownership of boutique performance.

  • Fluent French and English, with flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods.

Nice-to-have

  • Any additional language is highly appreciated.

  • Experience in luxury fashion, ski, outdoor or technical apparel.

  • Knowledge of the La Côte / Aubonne retail environment or an established local network
